Gosford City Brass Band are a B Grade competition band.
The Gosford City Brass Band has an extensive history covering over 110 years, named after the small community that was
Gosford and is now one of the thriving hubs of the Central Coast.
In 2006 the band had a successful introduction to
the Open B Grade National Competition.
In 2005 the Band won the Australian
National Open C Grade Championship and the
NSW State Open C Grade Championship. Also at this level the Band were State winners in 2003 and 2001, runners
up in 2004.
The site helps to provide ongoing information about the Gosford City Brass Band, current events, band's
history and players, promote brass music and access global links to banding related topics.
Our Mission
To provide brass entertainment and education for the wider community; to promote excellence in brass music throughout
the central coast region by encouraging and supporting development, performance, comradship and courtesy to all.
Becoming a Member
NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME
Junior to Intermediate level Band rehearses Wednesday 7 - 8:30pm
Absolute beginners group Thursday 6 - 7pm
Senior (Contesting and Performance Band) rehearses Thursday 7:30-10pm
ALL NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
All positions require full attendance committment to be successful.
