The Entertainment Challenge is Open to all Brass Bands of any level.

The Festival venue is at the Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi on a Sunday previously held in May.

The aim of the concert is to allow visiting Brass Bands to compete for the title of ‘Most Entertaining Band’, displaying both their musical and visual talents.

Entertainment is generally of a 15 - 20 min period depending on the number of entries.

The competition will be judged by our special guest, Matthew Walmsley.

Prizes are to be awarded on 50% entertainment and 50% music.

First prize is $750, second prize $500 and third prize $250.

Entry into the venue to watch the concert will be free to band playing members in uniform, all others will need to purchase a ticket.

Ticket prices will be $15 Adult, $12 Concession, $35 Family(2+2), $5 Child
