Melody Line October 2005 Newsletter (October 2005
for the Wednesday group) Some important dates for you to remember: October 23rd.
Sunday. AGM and Norm Holloway Shield, BBQ lunch. Notes have already been distributed for this date. October 29th.
Sunday. 10:30am til 11:00am. Playout for the Wednesday group is at the Narara Valley High School Fete. Be there at about 10:15am
to set up. This is our first outside performance. Please let Mark know if you are unavailable for this data Some of our Thursday players will be helping us on this day. November 13th.
Sunday. Brassed Oz. Concert at the Laycock Street Theatre. Junior players will be asked to have
dramatic roles supporting the senior band. This concert has a wizard of Oz flavour. As many juniors as possible will be accommodated
in acting roles. Additionally, we need a few parents to assist in stagehand roles. If you are able to be of
assistance please let Mark know as soon as possible. Your help in promoting this concert to friends would be f great assistance to the band. Advertising
pamphlets will be available shortly. Tickets can be purchased by phoning Laycock Street Theatre booking
Office on: 4323 3233 The AGM is a very important date on the band's calendar. The committee for
the next 12 months is elected at this meeting. Please give some consideration to becoming a committee member and have an input
into the band's organisation for the next year. We need two general committee members as well as a publicity officer for the
duration of the next 12 months. If you have some time and would like to know more about this aspect of our organisation please
