This is the first year of the Norm Holloway Shield. Norm Holloway is a current life member of Gosford City
Brass and has a rich history in relation to the band. Until recently Norm was our principal Euphonium Player. This shield
is to acclaim the efforts that Norm has contributed to the Band and encourage the development of players through solo competition.

The event is divided into Junior: Under 19yrs and Senior: 20+ yrs.
2005 entries included:
Junior section - 10am, 6 entries
Senior section - 11am, 6 entries
Competitors are given a handicap point score based on playing experience and ability prior to the adjudicator
awarding points for the performance.
