The test piece - "The Ship Builders" by Peter Yorke opened with energy and style, the 2nd movement somewhat unstable, the third displayed good dynamics and timing and the last movement ending the piece with some brilliant horn playing of the ships maiden voyage.

The bands own choice “Triumphant Rhapsody” (Gilbert Vinter) was a challenging composition chosen to improve the playing skills throughout the band. The band again showed energetic and tuneful application playing at its best. Featured instruments such as the euphonium, solo cornet and flugelhorn provided excellent sound and quality playing.
