things for you to remember: |

Juniors resume on Wed. 31st
Jan. Seniors resume on Thurs.
18th Jan. Concerts 2007 at Laycock
St. Theatre: Brass Festival Weekend, 19th
and 20th May. The Festival Challenge Concert
(20th May) to be held at Mingara Club in 2007. Saturday workshops will still
be in the band hall (19th May). Solos for 2007: Dates are yet to be confirmed
for 2007 events. The metropolitan solos are usually held in early April. The State Solos will more than likely be on the 5th and 6th May.
The Nationals are at Easter in We encourage all our juniors
to participate in some of these events. Playing in solos is a great way to develop your playing and confidence. Start practicing
some music now. Don’t leave it till the last minute. Mark will tell you
more as we get the information from the Band Assoc. of NSW. Please check the
calendar for confirmation of dates. Xmas The Band’s Christmas
BBQ will be on Saturday 16th December at Graham Lambs. Notes have already been issued regarding this event. Be
sure to collect one if you missed out  |
Jnr Band T-shirt This has been an on-going
project and the new committee will be finalising the purchase early in 2007. We have taken sizes and will hopefully have some
shirts within the next few months. Cleaning the Band Hall As a community organisation
everyone is rostered for cleaning the hall. This roster lives on the notice board and so is often ignored. So please see below.
If your name is down see Mark or Kindi to access a cleaning key which can be collected and dropped back the following week.
